Brand New Les Vogt Performax Bit. Cheek is item#1126SG - Mouth Piece is item #93. New Form to Function Bitting Program Designed by Les Vogt, winner of 15 World Championship titles. Special combinations of mouthpieces & cheek pieces to give you Perfect Leverage, Flexibility and Balance to Maximize Every Horses Performance. 7" Long Cheeks. Leverage position #1 Shanks (See diagram below for explanation). Mouth piece is (Power #3). Roller bar port mouth #3 power with bar and cricket port. This is a great combination for horses that work best with mouth pressures VS under-chin leverage pressures. Superior balance and counter balance release feature. Bit is Stainless Steel with Silver Overlay. "No Pinch" swivel cheeks with ball and tube designed for total neck flexion. A "Super Sweet" lightweight traditional style bit. Cow horse show legal low leverage position #1. Slobber bar with 3/4" rein hooks. Top bridle rings have a slight outward bend to prevent pinching of the horses face and mouth. Bit is stamped with Les Vogt's signature and "Performax" on inside of cheek. Watch for other Les Vogt's Bits featuring Bit Leverage Position #2 and #3. Features a half-breed high port mouthpiece with roller bars, 7" long cheeks, and a solid bottom bar with 3/4" rein hooks. Les Vogt Statement Below:
This is one of those bits that is good for a bad horse, and great for a good one. Hows that? As with most of our Mouth Power 3 bits, this one is a good tool for the horse that has lost respect for other bits, and you need to find one that will get his focus back on you. But that same mouthpiece can really enhance feel and communication for a rider that can work with a soft hand, and a horse thats been properly bridled. Works particularly well for horses that work better with mouth pressures versus under the chin.
The mouthpiece works on the outside of the horses bars which allows a little more contact, and while the flatter port conserves weight, as well as room in the horses mouth, the larger contact area on the horses tongue will help him to interpret your subtlest signals. It is a superbly balanced bit that seeks the neutral position and stays there, and is one of Less favorites for a bridle horse.
This bit is National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) show legal.
Leverage position #1 bits are designed for short-necked horses with a low neck set that need some lift at the poll to flex properly and re-distribute weight to the hindquarters. Mouth Power #3 bits use a high-contact mouthpiece that can provide more respect from the harder-mouthed horse, and higher levels of communication with the experienced bridle horse.
Cheeks feature beautiful hand-engraved German silver overlay on a stainless steel base, and mouthpiece is made from sweet iron with a copper cricket and roller bars.

- We use USPS for all International Orders.
- The most used shipping service for International orders is International Priority Mail, however we can also use Global Express, Express Mail International, Priority Mail International Flat Rate Box, Priority Mail International Large Flat Rate Box or First Class International shipping. All have different shipping and delivery time frames and prices. Please note that First Class is the slowest, can not be tracked and it can only be used when an item is under 4 pounds.
- International Priority Mail large Flat Rate box measures 12" Long x 12" High x 6" Thick with a maximum weight of 20 pounds. If you are looking at purchasing several items that could be shipped in this one box this option may give you the best shipping rate.
- International Priority Mail Flat Rate Box measures 13" Long x 12" Wide x 3" Thick with a maximum weight of 20 pounds.
- International Priority Mail is the most commonly used service for International shipping. Shipping rates vary by weight, size of box and country designation.
- Please email us with your country and the items you are interested in purchasing and we can certainly give you a shipping quote.
- Because of rising costs we are being forced to charge a $30.00 handling fee on all saddle orders shipping to a International Destination. This will apply ONLY to saddles and not any of the smaller items we ship. Please be aware of this additional handling fee when placing an order for saddles.
- International Buyers: Please Note:
- Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
- Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
- These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
- We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as 'gifts' - US and International government regulation prohibit such behavior.
- Please understand that we as sellers have no control over the time in transit it may take to arrive to your door. Once it leaves our possession we are both at the mercery of our postal systems USPS within the US and what ever provider delivers in your country along with Foreign customs. We have experienced delays with internatonal packages being delivered due to the packages being held up in that countries customs. We unfortunately have no control over that and we ask you as an Internatonal customer to please understand we as a seller have no control over that process in your country.

- Shipping charges will apply to all auctions (unless "Free Shipping" is clearly stated) and items will not be shipped unless appropriate shipping fees have been paid.
- If you are shopping and planning on purchasing more then one item, just please email us and let us know when you are done shopping and we will be happy to recalculate a combined shipping rate for you. In most cases it ends up being the original cost of shipping on the first item and then $2.00 or $3.00 per item after that, except in the case of heavier or bulky items were Dimension weight is applied.
- All saddles are shipped in their own individual boxes so we can not do a combined shipping on more than one saddle, however we can ship other smaller items that can be put in the box with the saddle.
- We use both UPS and USPS for shipping Monday through Friday.
- Depending on the size of the item and shipping destination we use the service we feel is best for that item.
- All shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and all International orders ship by USPS. Please be aware if you live in either of these states that the actual shipping may be higher that what is quoted on the auction site. The shipping fee posted on the auction site applies to the lower 48 states. Example would be shipping a saddle or bareback pad to Alaska, Hawaii are more costly then the shipping fees quoted on the site.
- We try very hard to ship either same day or next day after payment has been received. Some circumstances will take up to 3 business days. Monday through Friday. If we have a problem with shipping your item out quickly we will contact you. Problems do arise occasionally that create a delay in shipment.
- We send all shipping details via email through either UPS World Ship or USPS postal site. Also all tracking details will be loaded on the ebay site attached to the transaction. Please be aware that if you have a Spam Blocker it may hold this notification in your spam or junk folder, we on this end have no way of controlling this. Please know that we do all we can to get all shipping details emailed to you.
- If you have any special shipping requests, like UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, Postal Express, ship to a difference address, etc, just please contact us, we will do what we can to help!!!
